地図で場所と日時を選ぶと、太陽の向きと高さ、影の長さ、まわりの建物の影がひと目でわかるアプリです。物件探しや内見の前に、日当たりを気軽にチェックできます。

よくある質問

現在地が表示されません

「設定」アプリ →「アプリ」→「かげひなた」→「位置情報」で「このAppの使用中のみ許可」を選んでください。許可しない場合は、保存した場所（なければ端末の地域の代表的な場所。日本なら東京駅）から始まります。地図をタップすればどこでも選べます。

現在地にもどりたい

地図の右上の矢印ボタンを押してください。地図の青い点がいまいる場所で、まわりのうすい円は「このくらいずれているかも」という目安です。アプリを開いた直後は少しずれることがありますが、数秒〜20秒ほどで正しい場所に寄っていきます。

建物の影が表示されません

地図を拡大すると表示されます。インターネットにつながっている必要があります。日本では国土交通省の3D都市モデル「PLATEAU」、そのほかの地域では OpenStreetMap の建物データを使うため、データのない場所では表示されないことがあります。「設定」の「建物の影を表示する」がオンになっているかも確かめてください。

建物の影はどのくらい正確ですか？

公開されている建物の形と高さにもとづく、おおよその影です。木や山、看板などの影は入っていません。実際の日当たりは、現地でも確かめてください。

ネットにつながっていなくても使えますか？

使えます。太陽の計算、地名の検索、シンプルな地図は端末の中のデータで動きます。天気のひとこと、くわしい地図、建物の影はネットにつながっているときだけ表示されます。

コンパスの向きがずれます

近くに金属や磁石があるとずれることがあります。スマホを8の字に動かすと補正されることがあります。

保存した場所を消したい

検索窓の ▼ で一覧を開き、ゴミ箱のボタンを押してください。消した直後なら「元に戻す」で取り消せます。

日当たりの情報を共有したい

地図の右の共有ボタンから「テキストで共有」か「画像で共有」を選んでください。場所・住所・緯度経度・部屋の条件（何階・窓の向き）・その日の日当たり・天気を、免責事項をつけて送れます。テキストに入る「かげひなたで開く」のリンクを受けとった人が開くと、同じ場所・日時・部屋の条件でアプリが開きます（アプリがない場合は、App Store への案内のページが開きます）。

本アプリが表示する太陽の位置、日当たり、建物の影、天気などの情報は目安であり、その正確さや完全さを保証するものではありません。物件の購入・賃貸など大切な判断の際は、現地でも確かめたうえで、ご自身の責任で行ってください。本アプリの利用、または利用できなかったことによって生じたいかなる損害についても、ULTRAWARP は責任を負いません。

Support

Kagehinata shows the sun’s direction and height, how long shadows fall, and the shadows of nearby buildings for any place and time you pick on the map. Available in English and Japanese.

FAQ

My location is not shown

Please allow location access for Kagehinata in the iPhone Settings app. If you do not, the app starts at your saved place (or a representative place for your region, such as Tokyo Station in Japan). Tap the map to choose any place.

How do I go back to my location?

Tap the arrow button at the top right of the map. The blue dot is where you are, and the faint circle shows how far off it may be.

Building shadows are not shown

Zoom in on the map. An internet connection is needed. The app uses PLATEAU 3D city models in Japan and OpenStreetMap buildings elsewhere, so shadows may not appear where there is no data.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Sun calculations, place search and a simple map work with bundled data. Weather comments, detailed maps and building shadows need a connection.

The compass is off

Metal or magnets nearby can affect it. Moving the phone in a figure-eight may help calibrate it.

How do I share sunlight info?

Tap the share button on the right of the map and choose “Share as text” or “Share as an image”. You can send the place, coordinates, room (floor and window direction), the day’s sunlight and the weather, with a disclaimer. When someone opens the “Open in Kagehinata” link in the text, the app opens at the same place, time and room settings (without the app, a page with an App Store link opens).
