Seamtile
Privacy Policy
Seamtile (“the App”) respects your privacy
This page explains what information the App handles and how
Information we collect
The developer does not collect any personal information
There are no accounts and no developer-run servers
There are no advertising or analytics tools
Information handled only on your Mac
- Your photos: loaded and processed only on your Mac. They are never sent anywhere
- Textures you make: saved only to the folder you choose
- AI material recognition: runs on your Mac. To reopen photos faster, the App keeps the recognition results (data showing which parts of a photo are which material) in your Mac’s cache folder
- Settings: your save folder, file naming rules, language and similar settings are stored on your Mac
Network access
The App connects to the internet only to download the AI recognition model (about 238 MB)
This happens when you click “Download recognition model” in the App, or the first time you use material recognition from the command line. The model is downloaded from Hugging Face (huggingface.co)
As with any download, Hugging Face receives connection information such as your IP address
Your photos and personal information are never sent
Please see Hugging Face’s privacy policy for how they handle this information
Without the recognition model, every feature that doesn’t use AI works entirely offline
